Kelli Barram

Co-founder & Executive Director

Kelli Barram is the co-founder and Executive Director of the Plant to Plate Internship Program. She brings more than 30 years of experience in education, youth development, and human services, including a career designing and coordinating programs that support young people’s growth and leadership. She holds a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and is a Certified Leadership and Life Coach. An avid urban farmer with a lifelong connection to the food service industry, Kelli brings her experience working with people and cultivating the land together through Plant to Plate, creating hands-on opportunities for young people to build skills, confidence, and leadership.

Arnon Oren

Co-Founder and Board Chairman

Arnon Oren is the Owner of Anaviv Catering & Events and Co-Founder of Plant to Plate. With decades of experience in the San Francisco Bay Area culinary world, Chef Arnon has worked in renowned kitchens including Chez Panisse, Oliveto, and Scharffenberger’s Cafe Cacao. Arnon has built a catering company known for exceptional seasonal cuisine, thoughtful presentation, and a deep commitment to locally sourced ingredients. He is passionate about contributing to his community in meaningful, integrated ways, and believes wholesome, locally grown food can bring people together, foster connection, and strengthen communities. Plant to Plate is a direct manifestation of these values - combining mentorship, food, farming, and community to create transformational experiences for young people.

Board Member

Beth Lewis, Associate Director of Elementary Admissions at Prospect Sierra in El Cerrito, joined the board in Spring 2026. She has worked in education for more than 20 years and is excited to be part of such an innovative and inspiring program that helps students discover their interests and build confidence in themselves. In her free time, Beth enjoys trail running, reading, and playing ultimate frisbee with her husband and twin sons.

Treasurer/Independent Finance Consultant 

Strategic finance and FP&A leader with 10+ years of experience driving budgeting, forecasting, executive reporting, and operational efficiency across healthcare, technology, banking and nonprofit organizations. Passionate about using financial insight, process improvement, and cross-functional partnership to help organizations make smarter decisions, scale responsibly, create meaningful impact.

Board Member

Director of Development at Prospect Sierra School in El Cerrito, CA, Liz joined the board in the Spring of 2026. She is excited to help Plant2Plate expand their reach and finds joy connecting with others, regardless of age, and helping them discover their passions.  Liz spends her free time in constant motion, hiking, spinning, or finding adventure with her husband T.C. and her dachshund, Tobey.

Board Member

Omar is a high school math teacher, and mentor, committed to helping students build self-determination and achieve their academic and personal goals. He draws on his background as a Richmond native and Plant to Plate alum to help ensure the program reflects and supports the communities and students it serves.

Samantha Watson-Alvarado

Sam has worked in Richmond since 2013 at the Early Childhood Mental Health Program. Sam utilizes her education and mental health training to develop, enhance, and help sustain services that support West Contra Costa children and families. She believes that children of all ages should receive holistic education in a welcoming environment hat integrates social,emotional, and physical well-being with academic and real-live experiences, something that Plant to Plant provides their interns with each year.

Gina Wright

Youth Development Mentor & Educator

Gina Wright is a life-long learner from the East Bay whose work has included program management, leadership development, outdoor access, food justice, restorative practice, and purpose-centered facilitation with community members across the Bay Area and beyond. Gina is passionate about creating warm, trusting spaces where people feel seen, can build practical skills, and recognize their own strengths. Gina is especially excited to work with Plant to Plate because of its hands-on approach through cooking, gardening, wellness, and life skills which reflects her belief that young people thrive when they have real-world learning, meaningful relationships, and room to grow.
